$22,000 Cheque Presentation to Silver Creek Pre-School (December 2009)

This year all donations went to the Silver Creek Pre-School in honour of Mike Serba. Silver Creek Pre-School is located in Etobicoke right in the area where Mike lived, went to school and adjacent to a park where Mike played as a child. Check out our other cheque presentations.

Why We Support Children's Charities
Most people know for his exploits in hockey, for his gregarious nature and generosity, for his willingness to party and have fun, or his famous "straight legged dance". What a lot of people may not realize is that Mike had a great love for children. His family recalls how when Michael was a young as 2 years old, if there was ever an infant present, while the other older children would engage in other activities, Michael would stay with and play with and entertain the infant.
